Snowflakes

When I woke up this morning, there was a blizzard outside my window. Ten minutes and 42 photos later, there was only droplets left. So basically I was running around my front yard in pajamas and rainboots taking pictures of leaves. But I am obsessed with these pictures, so it's okay :)

Every year, my family celebrates by reminding each other how much the love in our family unit means to each of us. Boyfriends and crushes are just sweet but secondary novelties... kinda like conversation hearts! People who complain that Valentine's Day is merely an opportunity for single people to feel even worse about themselves completely forget about all the other kinds of love that exist in our world: love for friends, love for pets, love for family members, colleagues, TV shows, musicians, Reeses cups, and Sprite cans. There is so much MORE to be celebrated than romance!
