Amherst

So, the reason for the lack of posts last week and the urgent flurry in the last few days is this: I spent a week at nerd camp at Amherst College! (It's actually called GreatBooks, but I call it--with a bit of sarcasm, though it is kind of true--nerd camp) I was super busy learning and absorbing a thoughtful and intelligent atmosphere, but I did snap a few (er, okay, many) pictures.

That is my room with the much-needed fan--Friday had a heat-index of 110 degrees, and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. Yes, I was sure glad to have a fan!

Every time someone mentioned this building, I thought of my sneakers!
