I'm quite the travel bug lately! After my week spent at nerd camp, I have traveled two hours away to Mattapoisett, a small town on a bay in Massachusetts. I had a lovely time with my four hosts and I would like to thank them so much for a fantastic long weekend! I found enormous quantities of creative inspiration in the several pieces of vintage furniture and a floor of what used to be servant quarters in the over century-old house that we stayed at. Through the open windows of the house's charming interior lay and equally charming view: a gently sloping lawn leading to a rocky pier that stretched through calm waters simply teeming with sailboats. Photographer paradise, naturally!
We went tubing on the bay! I loooooooooove tubing so much, and had the best time. In the instance pictured, I had just finished a ride when I was practically dragged by the tube and got back on while going 30 mph. I'm breathless just thinking about it! Good times :)
